Looking For Curved Wedding Band? Chimera Design Has Them - Loving Embrace

Does your engagement ring curve?
Looking for a band to follow the contour without the time and expense of custom?

Say "hello" to our little friend - the Loving Embrace System from Ptak Brothers in New York.

We start with these 13 curves that field testing demonstrated fit 95% of all engagement rings.

Once we find the curve that best hugs your engagement ring - then you can choose from
any of TWENTY FIVE (yup, 25) different wedding band style. Since each band can be
made from any of the 13 curves that means you have a potential field of 325 rings to find a match.

The 25 bands go from simple bands made in the metal of your choice -
white, yellow, or rose gold in 10, 14, or 18kt
or platinum
or paladium -
to bands that are decorated with all kinds of bling
- diamonds or gemstones or BOTH.

The BEST part? Prices start at less than $300.
We cannot make a custom shadow band for that amount of money.

Sally let us share some pictures of her ring.
Curve #9 fit like a glove - look at the results.

If you have a curvy engagement ring, bring it on
in to Chimera Design and we can help you find the perfect
Loving Embrace wedding band.

We just put these three beauties in our Estate Case.

Pink Tourmaline is one of a very few NATURAL pink gems.
This one measures 11x7.5x5.6mm for an estimated weight of 3 carats.
It is accented by .12 ctw in diamonds.
Ring is size 6.5.

Rings from Chimera went to Australia and then to Venice with Anthony & Elisa.

This lovely couple is Elisa and Anthony.
They live in Australia and found us on the net.

They had us make the ring above for Elisa
and the one below for Anthony. Since Elisa had a center diamond
accented by rubies, Anthony put a ruby in the center with some accent diamonds.

All the CAD-CAM design steps were handled via email.
(Saved Anthony on gas money driving here from Melbourne!)
Once we had agreement on the design elements, the rings were made.

Were they content to get married in Oz?
Not these two - they traveled to Italy
and were married in the Town Hall in Venice.

Here they are on the balcony outside the Mayor's office
in Venice. My goodness, it does not get much more romantic than that, does it?

Tungsten Rings - Made in the USA - only $69 at Chimera Design.

We have just found a great source for Tungsten bands.
The company makes 98% of what they sell in house -
in the USA!

All of these Tungsten bands are only $69.00.
They are 6 to 8mm wide with that nice, heavy feel of Tungsten.

Also - since Tungsten rings cannot be sized, if your finger
should get bigger or smaller, then you can get a whole new ring for just $12.00.

WG6 This one has a satin finish in the
center with high polished edges.

WG3 The high polish and satin finish alternate.

WG1 This 6mm band has two satin finished grooves.
WG5 is an 8mm wide high polish with three grooves.

WG4  The polished edges on this one are rounded off.

WG2 is an 8mm wide black tungsten with a satin finish.

WG7  The hammered look is great on this 8mm wide ring.

Titanium rings - under $100.

The titanium rings we have just keep getting better and better.

Here are four new styles we just put out in the case with wood grain, carbon fiber, gold plated grooves, and hammered finishes.

The picture does NOT do this carbon fiber center any justice at all. The carbon fiber has a 3D look to it in this 8mm wide band.

I don't know exactly how they built a titanium ring with a hammered look, but they did.

We are unable to size titanium rings. HOWEVER - the good news is that if you gain or lose some weight, we can get you a brand new ring in the correct size for $10.

Custom diamond and sapphire ring for Jessie in Norway.

We were contacted by Jessie from Norway (yes, the country) - she had missed an opportunity to purchase the ring in the picture above. She wondered 2 things - 1. Could we make a ring like this; and 2. Could we make it WITHOUT the diamonds mounted across the top and bottom.

Yes and yes!

We started by finding her a diamond - she chose a .84 ct Yehuda VS2 H that had excellent proportions and sparkles like a champ. Then I tracked down some triangle cut natural sapphires to accent the sides. (Those were pretty tough to find!)

Once we had the dimensions of the center diamond and the accent diamonds (3.00x1.50mm marquise cut) we sent Jessie some computer images of her ring to look over.

The ring was going to be made in two parts - in order to faithfully replicate the look of the vintage ring she loved, we had to make a seperate top portion for the main diamond.
Jessie gave us the go-ahead and the finished product (cast in 14kt X1 white gold) is just what she wanted.

The vintage look comes across loud and clear - and we are now officially
Chimera Design International!

We LOVE to make custom jewelry - we would love to make something for YOU.

Partnership/Wedding bands with diamonds and rubies.

Here they are - set with rubies and diamonds.
(Sapphires would work well, too.)

14kt two tone gold.
These rings started out as one piece of metal -
in this case yellow gold. Then they were cut so that they
can snuggle with one another if they get the chance!

Having one straight edge allows the ring to be worn next to a traditional engagement ring if one so desires. Will Build To Suit - we make rings as unique as the people who wear them.
We would love to make one just for YOU!

Hot off the bench: Interlocking wedding/partnership rings in 14kt gold

Julie just made this set of rings in
14kt yellow and white gold.
They are made from one piece of metal -
you know, to best signify the two parts equaling one whole!
These pictures were taken just before she
started setting the gemstones in them.

You can have these rings made in your choice of metals:
white gold, yellow gold, or argentium silver or some combination.
They can also be set with one or more gemstones.

We would love to design a set for you and your loved one.

Handcrafted interconnected wedding band set.

Julie came up with the idea for these rings recently and
they are amazing (pardon my boasting). She hand makes them
from a single piece of metal to symbolize the two halves of a whole.
The pictures here are of the proto-type set made of
Argentium silver and 18kt gold. They can also be made of white and yellow gold.
These will make ideal commitment rings, partnership rings, or wedding rings.
Julie kept one edge flat so that it could be worn next to an engagement ring if you so desire.
The rings shown have sapphires, but you can use your choice of gemstones,
(we recommend diamond, ruby, or sapphire because of their durability)
and you can have up to three stones on each band.

The rings in gold cost between $650 to $950 each depending on ring size.
The price for Argentium and 18kt yellow gold with one stone in each band
sizes 4-9 are $300.00
size 9.25 -12 $355.00
NOTE: Additional stones add $50.00 each
