Julie mounted this fire agate (hard to photograph effectively) in a sterling silver band and accented it with recycled 14kt yellow gold.

Knots of sterling silver are holding amethysts in these earrings (above) and the pendant (below) - nothing beats the royal purple of amethyst.

Julie has been having some fun at the bench. She recently came up with these spirals made of sterling silver tipped with recycled 14kt yellow gold. She also bezel set a round diamond. The pendant is $220.00 and the ring is $169.00.

Custom sterling bracelet - Julie made it just for Judy!

Judy came in a while ago with some gold jewelry - she wanted Julie to take the diamonds and gemstones out and make her a sterling bracelet. She gave Julie free rein to have fun and make something special. The result above has several different finishes on the bracelet along with some recycled gold (rose, white, and yellow) and even a couple of gemstones mounted directly into pearls.

Judy picked it up this morning and LOVED it. I quickly grabbed my camera and took this shot of the two of them. It sure is fun to make people smile! Thanks Judy for trusting us to make your bracelet.
(On a purely practical note, the value of the gold jewelry she traded in covered more than half the cost of her bracelet. Win-win!)

Chalcedony and tanzanite in a sterling ring and bracelet.

 We have had this lovely Chalcendony for years - Julie waits until the inspiration hits! Well, it hit.

She mounted the 13.5x13.5mm beauty in distressed sterling and accented it

with some 14kt yellow gold and a 4mm natural tanzanite.

Ring is a size 6.5, but can be sized from 5.5 to about 8.

It has a 4mm natural tanzanite and two chalcedony stones the same size.

Engagement ring with all the elements he asked for.

A young man recently came in with some specific ideas for his engagement ring. He wanted a princess cut diamond - so we started there and found this really nice .50 ct VS2 G colored one from Yehuda (it was almost perfectly square at 4.40 x 4.46mm).

His sweetheart loves the color green, so he wanted to incorporate some green stones - Julie just happened to have some 2.5mm round green sapphires that filled the bill. He also had his grandmother's wedding ring and wondered if we could use some of it when we constructed the ring.

As you can see from the pictures, Julie used parts of the yellow gold ring shank to insure that the memory of his grandmother is now apart of his future wife's engagement ring.

We love this kind of thing - turning YOUR ideas into reality.

Bubble cut Brazilian opal pendant in 14kt recycled gold.

This unique piece is a winner in every category. Julie used reclaimed gold to fashion the pendant that lets light through almost all of this one of a kind Brazilian opal. It was cut by master gem cutter Alex Horst of Prescott, AZ - the "bubbles" faceted on the back of the gemstone bring it to life. It measures 25mm across the widest portion of the bottom and 37mm from top to bottom. $2,225.00.
