Gold and diamonds can be passed along for generations.

One of the best things about diamonds is the fact that they can be handed down from generation to generation. Since they are the most durable gemstone they continue to sparkle and shine forever.
This ring guard was made for a young bride - Elizabeth by name - using gold and a diamond from a ring worn by her recently deceased grandmother. The ring had a diamond that we matched with another of similar size and clarity/color characteristics and they were put into a ring guard which matches the contours of a lovely oval shaped pink sapphire engagement ring Elizabeth is wearing.
What a great way for Elizabeth to remember her grandmother every time she looks at her ring.
Elizabeth was very pleased with the results. Here is a portion of what she had to say in an e-mail: "O M G!!!!!!! [INSERT LOUD EXCITED SCREAMING HERE]
I have never seen anything so beautiful in my entire life!!!
I don’t even know what to say!!!
L-O-V-E Love it!"
