These beads are the brain child of Dave Schowalter from the East side of the state. (Dave owns a great store over there: Miner's Den). He started developing the beads with the goal of making them in the USA/Michigan (even though he admits it has probably cost him big money to do this.)

Anway - these sterling beads are made in the Grand Rapids area. They are fully licensed by the respective schools (which means they benefit from sales).
